Dance Medicine
People are talking about Dance Medicine. Read what they have to say!

Jacqui Haas has presented several programs on a wide range of Dance Medicine topics to our dancers and apprentices at the Charleston Ballet in West Virginia. On our recommendation, she recently offered seminars at our State West Virginia Dance Festival attended by more than 400 dance students. She has a marvelous way of explaining and demonstrating her information and knowledge, making complex subjects easy to apply and understand. She has a very approachable and professional manner and is well-organized  in her presentations. Our dancers look forward to her seminars and were excited to purchase her book!

I have had Jacqui come to Wittenberg as a guest speaker for my ballet technique classes and my dance kinesiology class. In both cases the students were engaged and eager to know more about dance anatomy, and ready to try the exercises. They also had many questions and were very enthusiastic about learning more about their bodies and how to stay injury-free.  Jacqui is an excellent instructor.  Her easy-to-understand instructions and organized workshops and lectures made learning about dance health a pleasant and rewarding experience.  After the workshop, students were interested in continuing with some of the exercises and they remembered things from her visit for quite some time.  For me as a teacher, it is paramount to have someone like Jacqui come to my class to keep me current in the field of dance medicine and to reinforce concepts to my students.  I look forward to having her as a guest speaker again.

As a former professional dancer, Jacqui has a unique vantage point with her clients.  Her understanding

of the classical ballet vocabulary and technique enables her to relate specifically to dancers' issues and

gives the dancers the confidence they need to entrust their care to her.

Jacqui Haas is  rare and endless pool of knowledge who we entrust our professional dancers of Exhale Dance Tribe to for years!

She is not only a expert in her field because of her own professional dance career but because of her years of experience with

dance academy's, companies and one on one clients at Wellington. Our dancers or myself never doubt who to call when we need

injury prevention or injury recovery. Jacqui is a gem of a resource to have in this tri state area! Not to mention my 1st choice for PT and dancers needs.
